YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Lead with deep expertise in analytics, data warehousing, and cross-functional reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Have a strong analytics background with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Possess 7+ years of experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions across multiple functions in a data-driven organization, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Have implemented cloud-based data warehouse solutions on platforms like AWS (Redshift), GCP, or Azure.
  • Bring 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional data or analytics teams, with a track record of building scalable reporting and data solutions.
  • Are highly proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, complex datasets.
  • Have hands-on experience in production-grade analytics environments, including version control (GitHub), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Excel at communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced e-commerce or technology environment.

In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering critical financial insights, enabling strategic decision-making, and enhancing overall financial performance. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, and Management Reporting, preferably within a fast-paced eCommerce or technology-driven environment.

Your Role

Razor is seeking a highly driven and analytical leader to join our team as the Associate Director of the Decision Engine, focusing on Pricing and Advertising Algorithms. This is a unique opportunity to have a massive impact at a rapidly growing company by directly influencing the profitability and growth of our portfolio of brands. You will lead a talented team in developing and implementing the core algorithmic logic that powers our automated decision-making engine, optimizing pricing and advertising strategies for thousands of consumer products. The Decision Engine:

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the pricing and advertising optimization algorithms within the Decision Engine.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and align algorithmic strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Drive the strategic financial direction of the business through the implementation of innovative pricing and advertising models.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in e-commerce, pricing optimization, and advertising to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Algorithmic Development and Implementation:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced algorithms for dynamic pricing, advertising bid optimization, and other demand-side levers.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines that feed the Decision Engine with timely market data, competitor insights, and internal performance metrics.
  • Build and refine predictive models that forecast demand, price elasticity, and the impact of advertising campaigns.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate algorithms and models into the Decision Engine platform.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in algorithmic performance and implement solutions to maximize profitability and efficiency.

Team Management and Development:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of experienced data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Hire and onboard new team members, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to achieve its objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on technical challenges, career development, and performance management.
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities and empower team members to take ownership of their projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, including brand management, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of algorithmic strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon, Google, Facebook) and data providers, to leverage their capabilities and insights.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics,Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university.
  • Have 6+ years of relevant experience in data science, algorithmic development, or quantitative modelling, with a proven track record of building and deploying successful automated quantitative algorithms.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams of data scientists or analysts.
  • Have experience in e-commerce, consumer products, or quantitative trading industries is highly desirable.
  • Have high proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in developing and deploying production-level pipelines.
  • Have strong understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and optimization techniques
  • Have experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
  • Have experience working with large datasets and building scalable data pipelines.
  • Have experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with strong software engineering experience to spearhead the development of microservices - based applications in AWS. You will work closely with our business stakeholders and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions that drive business success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Application Design and Development: Leading the design and implementation of microservices-based applications on AWS using services Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Integration and APIs: Designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services, including AI services.
  • AI Integration: Designing and implementing solutions integrating AI models via APIs, such as AWS Bedrock, or large language models (LLMs). Leverage AI for automation, personalization, and enhanced user experiences.

  • Have expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudFormation or similar services on other cloud technologies.
  • Have strong experience in Python and message queues and asynchronous processing (e.g., SQS, Celery, RabbitMQ).
  • Have knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven systems.
  • Have knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Are familiar with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

Preferably you:

To succeed in this role you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Have deep expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, and RDS.
  • Have proficiency with GitHub, including GitHub Actions, version control workflows, and repository management.
  • Have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Have hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Have solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Have strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation tasks.

Your Role

As a Sr. People Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle in Germany. You will be the go-to expert for data, reporting, and process optimization—leveraging your advanced Excel skills to deliver accurate payroll data, build scalable reporting frameworks, and support strategic decision-making across Finance, Tax, and HR. If you're passionate about supporting team members, turning complex workforce data into actionable insights, and thrive in a fast moving and scale-up environment, this role is for you!

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning People Operations for Germany, covering the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, reporting, VSOP processes and HR administration
  • Managing onboarding processes: create employee profiles in Personio, handle visa cases, coordinate IT setup via ticketing, and ensure smooth first-day experiences
  • Overseeing offboarding procedures in coordination with IT and Legal, including resignations, terminations, reference letters, and unemployment certificates
  • Maintaining structured workflows for offboarding to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Handling monthly payroll for all German entities, including processing bonus overviews and calculating monthly accruals
  • Providing payroll-related reporting and HR analytics for Accounting, FP&A, and Tax departments, including support for audits and merger preparation with global employee data
  • Tracking and report People Team KPIs on a monthly basis
  • Serving as Personio system expert: configure workflows, create automations, and generate reports
  • Acting as internal labor law advisor for People Operations, ensuring compliance and best practices
  • Collaborating with greater global People Team on team initiatives and culture building topics

 

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

  • hold a Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Management, Human Resources etc.)
  • have 3+  years of relevant work experience in People Operations, Human Resource Management, People Analytics
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge in Personio and Excel
  • Have experience in setting up global processes, policies, optimizations is a plus
  • have a clear understanding of German labor law, HRIS, and payroll systems; experience with US payroll systems is a plus
  • fluency in German and English required!
