Your Role

As People Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle in Germany. You'll be at the heart of ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for our team—from onboarding and payroll to compliance and employee support. You will be the go-to expert for data, reporting, and process optimization to deliver accurate payroll data, build scalable reporting frameworks, and support strategic decision-making across Finance, Tax, and HR. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning People Operations for Germany, covering the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, reporting, and HR administration
  • Managing onboarding processes: create employee profiles in Personio, coordinate IT setup via ticketing, and ensure smooth first-day experiences
  • Overseeing offboarding procedures in coordination with IT , including resignations, terminations, reference letters, and unemployment certificates
  • Maintaining structured workflows for onboarding and offboarding to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Handling monthly payroll for all German entities, including processing bonus overviews and calculating monthly accruals
  • Providing payroll-related reporting and HR analytics for Accounting, FP&A, and Tax departments, including support for audits

 

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

  • hold a Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Management, Human Resources etc.)
  • have relevant work experience in People Operations, Human Resource Management, People Analytics
  • show intrigue to set up global processes, policies, optimizations and automations
  • have a clear understanding of German labor law, HRIS, and payroll systems
  • experience in Excel, Personio is a plus

YOUR ROLE

We’re looking for a highly organized, systems-oriented Manager to lead our Processes & Uploads vertical. This role is critical to the stability, scalability, and quality of our content deployment engine across Amazon and other platforms. You will own and optimize internal workflows, manage key stakeholders and tools (like Hubspot and Jira), and ensure seamless process execution from strategy to frontend.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and optimize our internal content operations stack, including Jira and Hubspot pipelines that power our Amazon listings at scale
  • Act as the internal PoC for Amazon SAS and Seller Central, handling escalations, reconciling disputes, and aligning on key ASIN interventions.
  • Serve as the go-to person for cross-functional content process questions, especially from our SAS and platform teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and lead cross-functional projects to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance throughput.
  • Implement low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Zapier, Hubspot workflows) to reduce manual tasks and improve process accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product, tech, and analytics teams to scope, prioritize, and test internal tooling enhancements - while you don’t need to code, you’ll own the operational outcome.
  • Lead and mentor the uploads team, setting clear ownership, driving performance, and cultivating a high-accountability culture.
  • Oversee frontend reflection workflows (e.g., change logs, Hubspot API integrations), ensuring transparency and traceability of product updates.
  • Design and maintain scalable SOPs, QA frameworks, and upload processes to enable quality and consistency at scale.
  • Use advanced Excel and working SQL knowledge to monitor upload health, diagnose recurring issues, and enable data-driven improvements.

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed in this role you:

  • Hold 3–5 years of experience in operations, program management, or content systems - ideally within eCommerce or SaaS.
  • Possess deep hands-on knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, including catalog management, A+ content, feed files, and FBA workflows.
  • Are fluent in Excel and SQL; you enjoy building trackers, dashboards, and making decisions based on data.
  • Utilize Hubspot, Jira, and cross-functional communication tools comfortably
  • Operate as a natural problem-solver and systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity
  • Have managed or mentored teammates before - even informally - and enjoy helping others grow.
  • Ability to communicate excellently, collaborating with teams across ops, tech, and design.
