Area Manager

Your Role

As an Area Manager, you are an entrepreneurial, process driven and action-oriented leader who will join our core operating team. You execute the day to day as well as shape what our future looks like, all while passionate about safety, people, cost, customer experience and quality.

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Leading and developing a team of hourly employees that work in a specific area of the Fulfilllment Center 
• Leveraging data to drive core KPIs in order to promote and drive operational performance  
• Creating a culture of continuous improvement across your specific area of responsibility 
• Proactively turn high level ideas & concepts into actionable and scalable operational plans 
• Effectively prioritize the workload of yourself, your team and cross functional partners to ensure the right tasks are being worked on while removing blockers where necessary 
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed 

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you: 

• Have 3+ years of work experience in warehouse and people management 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time 
• Ability to operate sit down and stand up fork lifts a plus 
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized 
• Excellent relationship building skills and a strong sense of curiosity 
• Engaged by a highly productive and cross-functional environment in which you can influence and produce tangible results 
• Thrives in autonomous and ambiguous work cultures 
• Proven track record of organizational and structural skills; ability to drive change!

Salary: 82k USD annually
