Your Role

As a member of the Procurement department, you will be responsible for the management of important suppliers, negotiate terms and source the best manufacturers in the LATAM region. Your role will have a huge and direct impact on the company’s profit and loss statement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating Purchase Order placement and negotiation of Trade Terms, Pricing etc.
• Supporting the freight forwarding department for all LATAM shipments
• Managing daily communication with all LATAM based Suppliers.
• Working with a global team and improving procurement processes
• Building out our manufacturing relationships in MX and strategically developing LATAM in the procurement organization
• Sourcing new suppliers and driving nearshoring activities.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

• Have a university degree in management, supply chain or similar fields.
• Are an enthusiastic individual skilled in supply chain, procurement, or similar roles.
• bring 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing or related fields.
• Thrive in fast paced environments with lots of autonomy, being able to build up structures and processes by yourself.
• Demonstrate a strong communication skill in both Spanish and English, being able to effectively negotiate contracts and express your ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be willing to commute or relocate to our office in Mexico City to work effectively with your colleagues together.
